Cape Cod National Seashore Eastham MA.

The National Seashore Welcome Center is located directly off of RT 6 in Eastham. The center has walking tours through cedar swamps and beach paths. The Cape Cod Railroad Bike Trail also meanders through the National Seashore. The bike path starts in Dennis Ma at exit 9 on RT 134 and continues through to The National Seashore.

Some of the best beaches on Cape Cod are located in the Cape Cod National Seashore boundaries. The CCNS starts in Eastham and continues East towards Truro MA and ending in
Providencetown.
Beach conisoir Mr. Beach has put Coast Guard Beach which is located within he National Seashore on his top list for 2009.

135 acres of seasonal freshwater wetlands exist across the dune landscape of Cape Cod National Seashore's Province Lands. These wetlands which typically dry down by mid-summer, support plants, serve as breeding areas for Spadefoot and Fowler’s toads, and provide drinking water for wildlife.


Cape Cod is only some 18,000 years old in geologic time, but its history includes a vast collection of people, places and events, most from a time long faded into memory. From the beginning of its creation to the foundation of its National Seashore. Cape Cod is one of the forbearers of our national heritage.
