Orleans is home to some of the loveliest beaches anywhere in the world! The town has three major beaches and several small beaches and landings throughout town.
Nauset Beach, on the Atlantic Ocean, is one of Cape Cod's most popular spots for sunbathing, surfing, picnicking and off-road trekking. At the end of Beach Road in East Orleans, Nauset Beach is the southernmost beach in the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Skaket Beach, on Cape Cod Bay close the center of Town, has warm clear waters and is ideal for families who prefer calm waters. At low tide, you can walk for miles on the flats. The sunsets at Skaket Beach are legendary!
Pilgrim Lake is a freshwater pond in South Orleans on Herringbrook Road. The Pond offers handicapped accessibility, restrooms, benches, picnic tables and an area for launching small boats.
